Journaling | Stress Busters Series

Her planner. She made mine simpler so I can sustain it.

I requested the 2020 giving journal of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf from my sister because I liked their last year's format which I also got from her (she makes her own planner that's why she gave it to her untalented sister😅), but was surprised to see just dates and dots when I got this new one. So, in keeping with the theme of the Giving Journal, I asked her to share some of her talent! 😉

While designing my planner, she murmured, "therapeutic  kaya 'to". In my mind, I was: um, no..?! Writing is, but artwork, sadly isn't for me. Expressing oneself  creatively in solitude I feel is therapeutic too. Thinking about an audience, although it can be  motivating and fulfilling, can be stressful at times.

And keeping a planner, also helps you track your monthly and annual goals, create a systematic and productive schedule, and it's just fun to have a record of anything special or unique experiences happening in your life.

I encourage everyone to find time for our creative juice to flow. Whether it be bullet journaling, drawing, making music, dancing, doodling random stuff, etc just try it, even force your self to make time for it if you're like me who really thinks lying down in bed watching tv is therapeutic😜.

Wishing everyone a relaxing and peaceful mind!
