Foxy Papa Bear Part 2
More papa Anecdotes
While we were on the road, my sister on the wheel and my father on the passenger's seat, he told her to assume that all drivers are tanga (stupid or dumb) following a conversation about traffic rules. To people who don't know, It sounds like he's insulting or degrading all motorists. It's just him telling my sister to be extra careful, mindful and alert. Some of them might be using the same route as you do every single day, but you cannot expect them to slow down, speed up, stop, not to swerve or turn on/off their light when they should. Though everyone on the road basically knows how to drive, it is not right to expect other people to have the same decision-making skills, attitude and intelligence as you would have. They probably pass by the same route, but where they come from and where they're going, and its importance to them, can vary from yours and so can their decision.
I don't know how to drive yet. What I do know are people who I sometimes assume see things the way I do, but don't. Factors such as personal/professional issues, insecurities, values formation, character building, problem-solving skills etc. are affective. Quite insightful, isn't it? How you react really does say more about you than others, as I've read somewhere.
